Queensborough Community Centre Expansion Open House

The City of New Westminster is planning for the expansion of the Queensborough Community Centre and recognizes that community input is critical to the development of program spaces and facility design. Please join us at the upcoming Open House:

            7:15 pm - Presentation by Urban Arts Architecture

In October, 2007 expansion to Queensborough Community Centre was identified as one of five priorities under the City of New Westminster's Development Assistance Compensation (DAC) projects within the Destination Casino Project Development Agreement.

Community Indoor Spaces that were previously identified through previous public consultation process were considered in the expansion. DAC funding of $6.2 million was allocated for this project. Key features considered in the expansion include childcare, expanded fitness facilities, branch library, police office space, and additional multi-purpose rooms.
