Road Works within the City

There is new watermain work being done at Wood Street between Ewen and Salter Streets in Queensborough.

Watermain work is continuing at the following locations:

  • The Lane south of East Durham Street Mckay to Cumberland Streets
  • The lane between Scott and William Streets
  • Fifth Avenue between Sixteenth to Eighteenth Streets
  • Nanaimo Street between Twelfth and Eighteenth Streets.

Construction of the new Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Station within the boulevard is continuing on First Street close to Sinclair Avenue.

The lane south of Tenth Avenue between Massey and Cumberland Streets is still closed except to local traffic for various stages of the installation of a new watermain.

Ongoing work on Brunetter between Keary & East Columbia Streets from 7:00pm and 4:00am

J. Cote and Sons is doing night work on Brunette Avenue between Keary and East Columbia Streets.  They are installing a sanitary sewer for the City and two manholes for Metro Vancouver.  The work is expected to take three weeks to complete and will involve lane closures.  No lane closures will occur during rush hour or daytime periods.
