New Westminster Substation Upgrades Traffic Advisory

New Westminster Substation Upgrades Traffic Advisory
February 3, 2012

BC Hydro is carrying out upgrades to New Westminster Substation. The project will start in January 2012 and is scheduled for completion in August 2013.

During this time, the traffic lanes on Ovens Ave and Colborne St adjacent to the substation will be closed to provide additional working area for construction crews, trailers and equipment. Two-way traffic will be maintained along Colborne St.

Public parking will be removed on Colborne St, across the street from the substation, to maintain enough road width for two-way traffic flow.

On Ovens Ave, one-way traffic travelling from 1st St to Colborne St will be maintained.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
