Royal City Builders Awards

The Royal City Builders Awards honours excellence in building design. Presented by the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce and the City of New Westminster, these annual awards recognize projects in two main categories:

  • Heritage Category – this category honours building owners for their efforts in the preservation of New Westminster's heritage through renovation, restoration, and new home construction which respect heritage streetscapes.
  • Modern Development – this category honours the architects, designers, and builders of various projects are recognized for their quality and dedication to excellence in design.

To Nominate a Project

In order to be eligible for nomination, all work on the buildings must have been substantially completed by December 31st of the previous year. In addition, the building must comply with building permit or code standards, and meet all other regulatory requirements.
