FAST-TRACK (OVERTIME) APPLICATIONS

FOR BUILDING PERMITS

WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED.

The Building Division

Located on the main floor of New Westminster City Hall with the Engineering Department at 511 Royal Avenue in New Westminster.

Hours of Operation

Office Hour are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Pacific Standard Time) Monday to Friday.

All Building and Plumbing Inspectors are available for phone calls and to answer questions at the Building Division counter from 8:30 am to 9:30 am Monday to Friday.

Cut Off Times: Building Permits

We will not accept Building Permit Applications, or issue Building Permits after 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Ensure your request is made prior to 2:00 pm on the day before the inspection is required.

Please leave your permit number, contact name and phone number, type of inspection requested, address at which inspection is required, contractor and/or trade's business license number.

Required documents must be submitted to the Building Division one day prior to inspection date.
