Open House- January 27, 2011
On January 27, 2011 a public Open House was held on the project. 

Development Partner- Uptown Property Group
On November 1, 2010 a press release was issued regarding City Council's selection of the Uptown Property Group (UPG) to work with the City on the Multi Use Civic Facility project.  Please see the below Council Report dated November 1, 2010 for more detailed information regarding the project and next steps.  

Report to Council
On July 12, 2010 an update was presented to Council from the Project Managers and programming consultant.  The report included recommendations for uses within the Facility based on public feedback. Council approved the facility uses, as outlined in the report, with the addition of securing 2000 sq.ft. of space for an art gallery.   

Purpose-Built & Multi-Purpose Art Spaces
On June 10, 2010 an open house and workshop was held on prioritizing purpose-built and multi-purpose art spaces within the facility. 

Report to Council
On February 8, 2010 Council received an update report on the project.  This report summarizes the results of the December open house and workshop, as well as outlines the steps going forward to retain a Project Manager and Expression of Interest process with the development industry.
