Mission

The New Westminster Emergency Management Office is committed to provide the best Emergency Program in the Metro Vancouver area to our citizens. We will continue to set benchmarks of excellence and will integrate all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from events within the City of New Westminster. We will also continue to provide strategic vision in all aspects of our planning to provide a more disaster resilient community and region.
