Introducing the new Truer Bluer Single-Stream Recycling Cart! You can now place all your recyclables into one cart. It's quick and easy, no sorting required - just give it a quick rinse and toss it in the cart!

Recycling will be collected on a bi-weekly basis. Please refer to the Collection Schedule for more details.

Acceptable Items

- newspaper
- newspaper inserts
- glossy flyers
- hard cover books
- cereal boxes (flattened)
- aluminum and tin cans
- tetra paks*
- magazines
- paper bags
- cardboard cut into 12"x12" pieces
- paper egg cartons
- plastic bottles and containers, codes 1, 2, 4, 5
- foil plates
- milk cartons*
- phone books
- shredded paper (in plastic bag)
- envelopes (with or without window)
- paper
- glass bottles and jars
- milk jugs (flattened)
*To obtain refund where applicable, return these to your local Return-It bottle depot.

Please DO NOT include:

- styrofoam
- cellophane
- plastic bags (recycle at the City's Recycling Depot)
- plastics with codes 3, 6, 7
- foil wrap & foil blister packs
- plastics that are not coded
- facial tissue
