Building Stones of New West Walking Tour (All Ages)

Join City Councillor Patrick Johnstone as he takes you on a 250-million-year historic journey through New Westminster. With a geologist’s eye, you will examine the stones used to build some of our historic buildings including granite, andesite, marble and sandstone. In association with the museum’s temporary exhibit, Architectural Gems in the Crown of the Royal City, this architectural tour will also explore geology and paleontology. Bring walking shoes and a macro lens if you have it! Registration required.
