Canadian Parents for French – New Westminster Chapter is presenting a free public screening of two French-Canadian films in New Westminster. This event is part of the National Film Board of Canada tour held during the 2010 edition of Rendez-vous de la francophonie. This year's theme is “Discover to interact” and therefore, the films were chosen from various provinces in order to heighten awareness of different cultures.
CPF – New West will present the selected films in the auditorium at the New Westminster Public Library (716 6th Avenue) on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm, doors open at 6:45pm. The short films are suitable for families: On the Road with La Mouette (documentary with English subtitles) and Oma’s Quilt (animated).
