Centre Block Tower Feedback Form Consultation Results

At its meeting of February 8, 2010, Council directed staff to undertake a consultation process based on a consultant report which detailed three scenarios for the future of the Centre Block tower.

Regarding the consultation, the City met with Onni, the property owner, on February 24 and with the following stakeholder groups between March 2 and 6, 2010.

• Heritage Advocates: 6 participants
• Victoria Hill Neighbours: 65+ participants
• Former Residents, Family Members and Advocates: 75+ participants

To facilitate input, a feedback form was developed. This feedback form was distributed at the above meetings, and was available on the City’s website. In total, 163 people completed the feedback form, the verbatim responses which are included in the below report.
