Fee Increases & New Low-Cost Activities

Effective January 1, 2020, some Parks and Recreation fees will be subject to a price increase to offset inflation and operating costs.

  • Drop-in Programs
  • Membership Passes
  • Registered Programs
  • Facility Rentals

City Council approved the proposed adjustments which are intended to offset the estimated rate of inflation, align with market value of similar services in the region, and reduce financial barriers to participation for residents.

New Low-Cost Activities at Moody Park Arena & Canada Games Pool and Fitness Centre

As part of the department's ongoing commitment to offer low-cost programs to the community, some drop-in admission fees have been adjusted to provide more participation opportunities.

Beginning January 1, all Drop-in skate sessions at Moody Park Arena will be priced at $2.00. This includes Adult, Family, Parent & Tot & Public skates. Children 3 and under continue to participate for free.
