The National Lifeguard Pool certification is designed to transform Bronze Cross lifesaving skills into professional lifeguard values, judgement, knowledge, and fitness skills.

The course emphasizes aquatic industry standards, accident prevention, decision-making processes and rescue skills designed to prepare new lifeguards to safely supervise in swimming pool environments.

This is a 44-hour course requiring study and assignment completion outside of class time. Manuals and lifeguard kits are included in the cost of the course. This course is worth two grade 12 high school credits.

Prerequisites: 16+ years, Bronze Cross, and Standard First Aid Certificate.

Price: $430.00 (not eligible for subsidy)
