The 2026 New West Youth Awards are your chance to recognize and celebrate incredible young people who are shaping our community! If you know someone between 13 - 18 years old who is making a difference in New Westminster, now is the time to honour their efforts.

We also invite nominations for the Adult Ally Award, recognizing individuals (19+ years) or organizations that go above and beyond to empower and support young people in our community.

Why Nominate?

The New West Youth Awards are more than just recognition; they’re a platform to amplify the accomplishments of youth and and inspire our community. Each winner will receive:

• New West Youth Award Certificate
• Signed Letter of Recognition
• $100 Honorarium (Youth award winners only; Adult Ally recipients receive recognition only)

All nominees will be honoured at an in-person celebration during Youth Week May 1 - 7, 2026, highlighting their contributions and inspiring others.
