The Fraser River Discovery Centre is pleased to announce the return of its annual RiverFest, Metro Vancouver’s biggest celebration of the environmental, economic and socio-cultural importance of the Fraser River.
RiverFest will unveil the annual *click* photos of the fraser exhibit, which brings together an assortment of perspectives of the Fraser River from the Rocky Mountains to the Salish Sea. Each year, a new selection of photographs is unveiled with a different theme. This year’s theme is “time”.
Also headlining the evening is the opening of the Living, Working River Art Exhibition, a collection of juried pieces from eight local artists, presented by the Arts Council of New Westminster.
Pre-registration is required to attend the double unveiling. Delicious wines from Mt. Lehman Winery in the Fraser Valley and an assortment of First Nations appetizers from Salishan Catering will be served during the event.
