Energy Save New West is pleased to organize a public learning evening focused on cutting-edge approaches to high performance new homes and renewable energy.  With support of engaged local residents and businesses, as well as builders and designers, the City is taking a leadership position in energy-efficiency, greenhouse gas reductions and renewable energy.  Please join us for this Innovation Week session on Tuesday, February 27th, where City staff and guest speakers will be sharing experiences, insights and on-the-ground examples of innovation in the built environment – boosting New Westminster to the forefront of energy innovation.  At this event, you’ll hear about:

New residential design and construction practices that are tracking the top levels of energy sustainability in BC, and delivering optimum occupant comfort.

Learn about the City’s Urban Solar Garden initiative, and how it is providing local access to renewable power by working together to create solar energy made in New West, for New West.

This event is free to attend and no registration is required.  Light refreshments will be available at the start of the session.
