Self-taught singer/songwriter Ranj Singh has a very unique voice and 12 string guitarmanship. His music is a masala of Indian melodies with Western Folk, a genre he calls his own as Indo-Folk-Music. With over 35 years of experience performing in over 3000 shows, sharing the stage with artists Jann Arden, 5440, Colin James, Harbhajan Mann, Dal-Dil-Vog, he has now found a new calling in performing his original music. Ranj hosts an open mic every Thursday night at Judge Begbies in New Westminster and performs all over the lower mainland. 

Uptown Unplugged is a weekly performing arts series presented in partnership with the Uptown New West Business Association and the Arts Council of New Westminster. Performances take place in various locations throughout Uptown on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2:00 pm. Uptown Unplugged features talented musicians from throughout Metro Vancouver.
