Changing the Conversation: Reflective Empathy and Public Discourse on Social Housing
January 22, 2020
6:30 pm
8:00 pm
Anvil Centre Theatre, 777 Columbia Street

Description: Public discussions of social housing often perpetuate stigmas around poverty and homelessness. Meanwhile, the voices of people who need social housing are not heard. This three-part event series aims to encourage more reflective and empathetic discussions by centering these voices through first-person narrative and the arts.

Part 1: Thinking about Problems with Public Dialogue

Join us for a discussion of public engagement processes and a look at the background of political discussion about housing in New Westminster.
