New West Hospice Society hosts 'Grief & Gratitude’. This event offers citizens an opportunity to share their grief for all the pandemic losses experienced. From Covid, opioids, racism, violence, residential school tragedies, suicide, fires, heatwaves and more. Something has happened to us. We need to acknowledge it and collectively heal together.

We will create a Memorial Quilt to honour the losses and to remember that together, we can overcome. It will serve as a symbol of our grief and the power of community. Bring your own square or create one at the event. Our partners/sponsors will display resources to educate/support healthy ways of coping. We’ll share our gratitude for people who have selflessly supported us during the pandemic. Stay tuned for more details.

This is a Come and Go event that will make togetherness possible without forming a crowd. Get your ticket(s) at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/170299274715
