As part of the WALK30 Challenge, Mayor Patrick Johnstone is hosting a weekly Walk with the Mayor. Join the Mayor to walk different neighbourhoods in New West and chat about the City, the weekly theme, and more. Walks will take about an hour, rain or shine! No registration is required, just show up at the starting point at the appointed time.

Week 5: Physical and Mental Health

On May 12, meet at 1:00 pm in front of Queen's Park Arena. The walking route will be along the Millennium and Rainbow trails to discuss fitness, recreation facilities in the park, and the mental health benefits of being in nature.

The accessible route is approx. 2.9km loop with some grades.
