Westminster Pier Park will be activated with a variety of activities and opportunities to learn, discover and try something new from 1:00- 6:00 pm with food trucks on site starting at 11:00 am.
Music at the Pier* - Enjoy live music and multicultural performances. Bring a blanket, chairs and a picnic and take in the beautiful views and sounds of summer. The stage schedule is available below.
Circus Zone - Vancouver Circus School Interactive Experience! A total circus experience where you can choose how you want to participate. You will be treated to a wide range of props for all levels and ages. From juggling to stilts to rola bola’s, there will be something fun for you to try.
Woodland Art Community Canvas - Join Indigenous artist James Groening for an activity exploring Woodland Art. Woodland Art is a distinct style blending traditional legends and myths with contemporary mediums. Make your mark on this community canvas project, which will be displayed at River Market this Fall.
Kids Zone - Face painting, balloon twisting, a garden activity with Gardens4Kids, crafts with Dr. Recycle and more! Activities that allow kids of all ages to get creative or just have some fun.
Yo-yo Show, 2:30 and 3:30 pm - Be marveled by Terrance Wang, the 2023 Canadian Yo-yo Champion. Terrance has been yoyo-ing since he was 7 and is self-taught by learning from online videos. He competes internationally to represent Canada in yo-yo championships around the world.
Food Zone: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm - Enjoy a variety of delicious food options. There will be something for everyone from desserts to snacks to meals. We are excited to feature several food trucks along with the Eats at the Pier Concession. For every $10.00 spent at Eats at the Pier, you will get a free cookie.

The Vanrays - With soulful vocals, deep grooves, punchy horns and memorable melodies The Vanrays take Motown from East Van to a stage near you. Robin Layne and the Rhythm Makers - Embark on a rhythmic adventure led by renowned percussionist and educator Robin Layne. This interactive musical experience invites young audiences to join the band and explore the world of marimbas and percussion.
