The New Westminster Symphony gets its 2023/24 season off to a triumphant start with a selection of the best loved movie scores of all times.

John Williams will be well represented with his Star Wars, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Harry Potter. Disney won’t be forgotten as you will also hear familiar themes from Beauty and The Beast, Pirates of the Caribbean and How to Train Your Dragon.

There will be vintage themes from Moon River to Lawrence of Arabia and West Side Story. And no concert would be complete without The Lord of the Rings.

The concert will be at our new home in the Sanctuary of Queens Avenue United Church on the corner of 6th Street and Queens Avenue. At 2PM. Entrance is on 6th Street. Doors open at 1:30PM. Admission is by donation.
