New Westminster Progressive Coalition is pleased to host a Crime and Safety Forum on Wednesday, November 8 at the Inn at the Quay from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The panelists are very familiar with crime and the court system and are as follows: Dave Jones: The former Chief of Police for New Westminster and Former Chief of Police for TransLink; Shirley Heafey: The former Chair of the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP as well as a former NW Police Board director; and Kash Heed: The former BC Solicitor General as well as the former Chief of Police for West Vancouver. The evening will be moderated by Councillors Fontaine and Minhas. Please join us for this special forum to discuss crime and safety in New Westminster.
