We are a group of cyclists who leave Queens Park arena on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 9 am (8 am when the weather gets really warm) starting with 1 hour rides and building up to a fitness level so we can take part in either the August 25k, or September 50k/100k Solidarity rides benefiting the Stephen Lewis Foundation's project, in which Grandmothers here help Grandmothers in Africa (Gogos) who are caring for orphans from the AIDS crisis. This is a great way to cycle with others at a comfortable pace, check out different cycle routes in the city, and build your cycling fitness. Helmets required. We encourage you to register with the Ride and contribute to the fundraising as well.
