Curious about social dancing? Come for a crash course in swing dancing and meet the gang at Uptown Swing Collective! No experience, partner, or commitment needed. See what we’re all about, and why we’re so in love with this happy, joyful dance. You’re highly encouraged to stay and meet our community at the dance practice afterwards. 

 

We will be in the Dance Studio of the New Westminster Secondary School - look for our signs to lead the way. Dress in whatever makes you comfortable, and please wear clean shoes with non-marking soles (or you are welcome to dance in socks).

 

Uptown Swing Collective promotes swing jazz music and the associated dances. We hold monthly social dances, and weekly lessons for dancers and musicians.
