Amnesty International Canada, in partnership with the Moose Hide Campaign, invites everyone to attend a free screening of the movie “Highway of Tears”, a documentary looking into the missing and murdered women along a 724 kilometer stretch of highway in northern British Columbia.

 

Amnesty supports and acknowledges the historical and ongoing oppression of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people on this territory and across Canada, which has led to the human rights crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people and wishes to continue the conversation about reconciliation.
