Come join the community of Uptown Swing Collective! Featuring live swing jazz music provided by local jazz musicians. We want you to dance and move to the music. Music and movement in community contributes to personal wellbeing and feelings of connectedness and belonging. Local residents and visitors will enjoy uplifting swing jazz music and accessible movement activities during the evening.
On Monday May 25, you can also enjoy a selection of drop-in activities, from origami to beading, building blocks, digital drawing, and more! Board games are also available to borrow from the front desk.
Downtown’s Living Room runs every Monday and is a great way to connect with the community while enjoying a FREE all-ages event. We’re open Monday to Thursday until 8:00 PM.

Uptown Swing Collective is passionate about creating intergenerational connections among musicians, dancers, and toe tappers, in New Westminster. USC hosts a monthly live music event at Century House, and weekly dance and music courses at NWSS. USC typically enjoys collaborating with community groups such as New West Pride, Hyack Association, Sapperton Business Collective, and Recovery Day.
