City of New Westminster announces panel speakers for 2014 Invest New West Economic Forum
New Westminster – The City of New Westminster and the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce are excited to invite the business community to “save the date” for the 2014 Invest New West Economic Forum on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm at Anvil Centre in Downtown New Westminster.
“This event will be an excellent chance to hear first-hand about all the exciting business and investment opportunity in New Westminster,” said Councillor Bill Harper, forum Co-chair.
“Attendees will also get key insights from speakers on why they see New Westminster as a strategic location for business opportunity and growth,” added Gary Pooni, President of Brook Pooni Associates and forum Co-chair.
The event will feature several high-profile professionals who will speak about current and future growth and opportunity in New Westminster and Metro Vancouver. The City and the Chamber are pleased to announce the following speaker line-up for the forum:
- Keynote speakers: Colin and Dale Bosa of Bosa Properties and BlueSky Properties
- Opening speaker: Andrew Ramlo of Urban Futures
- Panel speakers: City of New Westminster Chief Administrative Officer Lisa Spitale, President and CEO of CRS Group Suki Sekhon, and President of Overwaitea Food Group and Save-On-Foods Darrell Jones.
