This summer, we’re piloting Cool Streets as part of our Streets for People initiative, intended to connect our most vulnerable residents to parks and open spaces by creating more park-like experiences along streets, contributing to a more equitable green network throughout our city.
While these sunny days of summer continue, Parks and Recreation staff are looking ahead to fall programming and working on plans for what reopening facilities will look like for the upcoming season.
From the week of August 10th to early November, there will be a rolling full road closure on East Columbia Street, starting south of Keary Street and ending north of Sherbrooke Street..jpg)

We are implementing the City’s recovery plan, which guides the gradual reopening of civic facilities and the restoration of programs and services that were closed or suspended as a result the COVID-19 pandemic.
