Land Use and Planning Committee (LUPC)
In order to advise City Council on matters of land use, community planning, and development, the City of New Westminster has established a Land Use and Planning Committee. The Committee will provide advice and recommendations regarding policy, proposals, programs, and applications for land use (such as rezoning, development permits, and liquor licenses).
A schedule for Committee meetings can be viewed above. Meetings are open to the public, but may adjourn into closed session for certain matters.
Requests for presentations shall be by submission of a letter to the Recording Secretary seven working days prior to a meeting, providing the name of the speaker and the topic to be discussed. Presentations may be limited to a maximum of three per meeting.
