Fired Up for Football

Get fired up for the world's biggest football tournament In New Westminster! Fired Up for Football is a series of free community events fuelled by your passion for the Beautiful Game. Some events are City-run, and some are run by community partners with grants from the City. There's something for everyone, so don't miss out on the excitement. 

Be sure to visit local New West businesses during the World Cup period. Reach out to them directly to determine what specials or reservations they are offering. 

Uptown Business Association has a list of known businesses that are showing the games on their Instagram account as does the Downtown BIA. Businesses in Queensborough and Sapperton also have TVs in their establishments and many are open early.
