In-progress

The following items remain in-progress or are being considered for future implementation.

  • Lap Pool Maintenance: inspection, cleaning and repairs are on schedule for completion, and to reopen the Lap Pool April 23.
  • Turnstiles: There is an ongoing issue with the current model of turnstiles across all current locations, rendering them non-functional at this time. We are actively working with the manufacturer to identify a suitable solution.
  • Universal Change Area Glass Panel: Temporary coloured panel installed to replace broken glass until the clear glass panel arrives.
  • Pool Deck Showers: A new shower system has been ordered, with delivery anticipated in 12-15 weeks. A temporary solution has been implemented by welding one of the shower handles in place so one shower is functional.
  • Shoe Rack in the Universal Change Area: Scheduled for delivery in approximately 8 weeks.
  • Lockers with Missing Keys: Due to a significant percentage (over 50%) of locker keys not being returned after use, we are evaluating the possible transition to a coin-return locker or free punch code system. This change is intended to ensure locker availability for facility users.
  • Change Area Benches: The addition of benches in the change rooms is currently under consideration. Due to limited walkway space and budget constraints, a feasibility assessment is being conducted to identify options that balance user convenience with infrastructure constraints and cost implications.
  • Water Fountains: The feasibility of installing a water fountain system near the sauna and steam room is under review. Additional evaluation is required to determine whether the installation is possible within existing infrastructure constraints.
