Downtown Building and Public Realm Design Guidelines and Master Plan

The City has developed and adopted the Downtown Building and Public Realm Design Guidelines and Master Plan. The purpose of the guidelines is to build upon the Downtown Community Plan and build consensus around the future character of the neighbourhood, focusing on creating a livable, animated, and sustainable community heart. The guidelines will act as a toolkit for the community, proponents, developers, and City Staff to inform a wide range of development projects within the Downtown.

Thank you to everyone who engaged with us and contributed during the open houses in the development of the guidelines.
