The Parks & Recreation Department is replacing the play tower in Queen’s Park due to its age and condition. The new play structure has been selected through a competitive tender process and offers high play value for a diverse range of ages and abilities. The structure incorporates a two-level treehouse with three types of slides and multiple climbing structures. There are many options for access and egress including a transfer platform at the base of the treehouse for an inclusive approach to the play features.

 

Construction is anticipated for completion by the end of August 2021.
