Queensborough Community Centre (QCC) – Bridge Construction Notice

Due to unique soil conditions in Queensborough, the bridge at the entrance of of the QCC has experienced significant sinking. To ensure the safety of our patrons, we are performing essential repairs to improve access and reduce the slope of the bridge.

• Estimated Completion: May 29, 2026
• Note: Dates are subject to change based on weather or unforeseen circumstances.

How to Access the QCC

Barriers have been installed to block the affected area. Please use the following fully accessible alternate routes:

• From the Parking Lot: Please follow the designated temporary access path.
• From Ewen Avenue: Pedestrians may access the building via the existing path on Ewen Ave.
• Mobility Aids & Strollers: All temporary routes are designed to be safe and accessible in all weather conditions.

Parking & Transit

• Parking: The main parking lot remains fully open. No parking spaces are expected to be closed.
• Public Transit: Bus stops along Ewen Ave remain unaffected and accessible.
