Quayside Esplanade and Boardwalk Pile Replacement Project

Project Details

Starting in early October 2024, the City of New Westminster will be completing pile replacements along Quayside, below the wooden boardwalk. This necessary work will take approximately three months, with crews wrapping up just before the December holidays.

During construction, small sections of the boardwalk will be temporarily closed to ensure public safety, but pedestrian access along the brick esplanade will remain open at all times.

We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation throughout the project.
