Eighth Avenue Closure - 20th Street to 12th Street

Project Information

Eighth Avenue between 20th Street and 12th Street will be closed for construction relating to City of New Westminster’s West End sewer separation and water main works. 

Traffic Impacts

Duration:
July 2nd to August 29th
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm

• Transit services, Emergency services and local traffic will be allowed through the construction zone at all times. Road will remain open to everyone after work hours.
• Traffic will be detoured to Tenth Ave via 12th St and 20th St.
• No impact on pedestrian facilities and pedestrians will be assisted by TCP's through the work zone (if required).
• On street parking will be unavailable in the work zones.
