Seventh Avenue West Corridor - BC Parkway to Tenth Street

Project Details

The City of New Westminster is enhancing the Rotary Crosstown Greenway along Seventh Avenue between the BC Parkway and Tenth Street to provide a safer, more comfortable, and attractive route for people of all ages and abilities to walk, bike, and roll.

This project includes refreshed line painting, protected intersections for cyclists, new speed cushions to calm traffic, and improved street lighting.

Project Timeline

Project Update January 2026

• Signage installation, paving and road line marking work is still outstanding and will be completed once weather conditions are dry and warm enough.
• The project is currently scheduled to be completed in March 2026
