Zoning Bylaw No. 6680, 2001, Amendment Bylaw No. 8594, 2026
Location: 260-800 Carnarvon Street
Purpose: To rezone and allow for a new licensed cannabis store at 260-800 Carnarvon Street, in the Downtown neighbourhood. This rezoning is intended to allow the applicant’s existing, licensed cannabis retail business at 540 Ewen Avenue, in Queensborough, to be relocated. The proposed business would be required to operate in accordance with Federal and Provincial regulations for the retail sale of cannabis and the City’s Business Licence and Zoning Bylaw regulations. The cannabis store is proposed to be operated from 9am to 11pm seven days a week. The application is consistent with the Official Community Plan and Cannabis Retail Rezoning Policy.
