The Poppy Project

View the handmade blanket October 27 - November 12.

The Poppy Project was organized by a group of knitters and crocheters from New Westminster. A collection of hand-made poppies were created for a large art installation meant to honour all members of our Canadian family who have had experience with the horrors of war. A large blanket was created, covered with hand-made poppies, to be a focal point of remembrance. This blanket will be on display at different City facilities leading up to Remembrance Day.
