Faculty - Creative Movement

Charlotte finds herself continuously exploring and navigating her roles as mover, dance educator, arts administrator and choreographer. Originally from Seattle, Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from Simon Fraser University (2014), and has since choreographed works for the Dance Centre’s 12 Minutes Max, rEvolver Festival, the Firehall’s BC Buds Spring Arts Fair, and Vines Arts Festival. She has been teaching dance and fitness classes to movers ages 2 to 60 since 2012, and in summer of 2017 completed Anne Gilbert's 60-hour Dance Teacher Institute on brain-compatible dance. Charlotte immerses herself in the arts from all sides, having worked for local arts management group Eponymous since 2014, and is a member of Dance and the Child International (DaCi) Canada.
