Handmade Heritage: Holiday Gifts (14+ Years) - REG CLOSED

Visit Irving House while it is decorated for the holidays and make heritage-inspired holiday gifts and crafts.  Over two cozy Sunday afternoons, join our experienced instructor to make hand-sewn ornaments, delicately cut cards, music lights, hand crafted paper gift bags, and more. Instructor: Tracy Golling. All supplies included.

Holiday Cheer (All Ages)

Irving House is decked out in Victorian splendor for the holiday season. Enjoy the holly, ivy, and live music with a variety of local performers in our parlour. Visitors can also make a small decoration for one of the house trees.

Victorian Book Club (14+ years)

Every two months, discuss literature and culture as you sip tea and chat with the club at Irving House.  We read literary works by the Brontes, Charles Dickens, Robert Louis Stevenson, Oscar Wilde, H. G. Wells, Joseph Conrad, Henry James, Mark Twain and others.  This is the perfect opportunity to join other enthusiasts in your community.

Culinary Heritage: Cooking for Lunar New Year (All Ages)

Join long-time Family Services of Greater Vancouver volunteer, Eva, as she explores Chinese heritage through food. This time, Eva will be making Fried Sesame Smiley Balls for Lunar New Year. Cook together, explore cultural heritage, and taste the recipe!
