Art in the Streets: Street Banners Public Art Project (5-13 years)
Help transform the streets of New Westminster into beautiful works of art! This rare opportunity allows young artists to work with a professional artist to design a one-of-a-kind street banner that will be displayed on our city streets. You'll learn how to work collaboratively with your peers to make your mark in New Westminster!

This dynamic program develops skills, techniques and art vocabulary through painting, drawing and sculpture! Encouraging creativity and confidence, students will discover the thrill of creating art with a wide variety of media, including acrylics, clay, pencil and more. Artist Focus Day Camp (4-11)
Join Melissa Thorpe for an art-filled journey, reviewing the life and work of a different famous artist every day. From Frida Kahlo to Andy Warhol, this program encourages a love of learning through creativity, making and fun. Kids will be exposed to age appropriate art history while working in a variety of mediums, inspired by works of famous artists.
