This is a dwarf version of Ginkgo that works well in smaller garden spaces – might also work as a container tree on a balcony! Generally speaking, the tree has denser foliage than full-size Ginkgo and enjoys much slower growth rates. The unique fan-shaped leaves are other-worldly to experience, indeed the lone remaining member of an order of plants dating back 270 million years.
