Please be advised that between July 8, 2019 and approximately October 30, 2019, there will be no parking available between Moody Park Arena and Massey Theatre. This is required to accommodate the installation of major underground utility and road works for the New Westminster Secondary School replacement project. At the completion of this work, the parking lot will be redesigned to improve vehicle flow and new expanded sidewalks will be installed to allow for increased pedestrian traffic. 

Work is being completed in a phased sequence to ensure public safety and to maintain pedestrian and vehicle access to the site at all times. During this time, no parking will be available in this lot (see map below). Alternate parking will be available behind the arena and theatre. Marked drop-off zones will also be created near the front of the arena (Note: these zones will change depending on the sequence of work). Traffic personnel will also be on site during the day to help guide vehicles and pedestrians. 

Moody Park Arena users should plan to arrive early for lessons and programs as parking will be limited and will require a short walk to the facility. For more information, please visit www.newwestcity.ca/rec or call 604-525-5301.
