The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented and challenging time for all of us. As we work to develop response plans to mitigate the health and economic risks to our community, we are also working closely with our local social service agencies who are focused on our at-risk and vulnerable residents. The staff and volunteers of our local faith and non-profit organizations are unsung heroes, tirelessly working to deliver programs and services while reducing risk and maintaining the safety of our most vulnerable residents, including our neighbours experiencing homelessness, seniors, persons with disabilities, and individuals with health challenges.

WE'RE CALLING ON YOU TO HELP!

Our local faith and non-profit organizations are experiencing a significant decline in donations and reduced volunteerism and they need our help as they continue to support our most vulnerable community members. These organizations are having to respond quickly to the increasing needs of our community, including equipping their sites with extra supplies and adapting programs and services to maintain the health and safety of participants.

Cash donations are essential to enable them to continue to provide a high level of service and care during this very difficult and rapidly changing time.

Volunteers are fundamental to the success of social service agencies and our local faith and non-profit organizations are in need of additional volunteers to support their efforts.
