To accommodate the recycling needs of resident during the transition period between the closure of the New Westminster depot and the opening of the new Metro Vancouver regional transfer facility, the City of New Westminster will be offering a series of one-day recycling events.

At this event, the following items will be accepted:

• Glass packaging
• Large pieces of styrofoam packing material
• Soft plastic film and bags
• Other flexible plastic packaging (OFPP)
• Textiles

Items must be sorted prior to arrival.

No take-out food packaging, meat trays, egg cartons or anything with inks, dyes or coloured foam.
