Pursuant to Sections 24 and 94 of the Community Charter, the City of New Westminster hereby gives notice of its intention to license part of Ryall Park to the GROWcery Food Network Society for an eleven-month term, with a renewal option for a subsequent 12 months as needed.
The License Agreement, offered below market value, will provide the GROWcery Food Network Society the ability to construct, operate and manage a community learning garden on a portion of the Land (the “Garden”) (hatched area A in the diagram ) for the purposes of teaching construction skills, urban farming demonstration, food security, botanical therapy, education and community enjoyment.
