In response to new Public Health Orders issued on November 7, 2020, the City of New Westminster has implemented a new, temporary mandatory mask requirement for staff and members of the public inside all City facilities. This requirement will be in effect for the duration of the order.

Disposable masks are available at all facilities for anyone who does not have one. Individuals who are medically exempt, along with children under the age of five years are not required to wear a mask. 

Please note, masks remain optional for City staff when they are working in a personal office or workstation, when behind a Plexiglas barrier and physical distancing is maintained, or when working outdoors and physical distancing is maintained.
