The New Westminster Police Department are inviting members of the public, including residents, business owners, students, and people who frequently visit the city, to participate in community consultations to help draft the next strategic plan. The new strategic plan will outline the future mission and vision of the NWPD as well as provide a framework for police engagement with the community for 2020 and beyond. Public input is vital in this process, and residents can save their seat for the upcoming community consultation meetings by visiting the New Westminster Police Department website nwpolice.org.

Community consultations will be held at the New Westminster Public Library, 716 6th Ave, on September 16, September 17, and September 21.
